In the summer months, from June to September, temperatures frequently exceed 40°C as the region receives slight rainfall. Spring and autumn offer more temperate weather, ideal for those seeking milder conditions. During these seasons, daytime temperatures usually linger between 20 and 35°C, while cooler evenings often have temperatures falling between 14 and 20°C.
Kindly note that in line with customs across the Middle East, it’s important to respect local sensitivities and traditions. Kindly refrain from wearing short, revealing, or form-fitting clothing in public areas.
Tipping is not customary in Oman. However, a gratuity is always a welcome gesture for exceptional service.
As per Omani law, restrictions apply to the service of alcohol at certain times of the day.
During the fasting month of Ramadan, alcohol will only be served via in-room service throughout the day, and after sunset at The Restaurant and The Club Lounge.
