The Chedi Muscat, The Chedi Al Bait, Sharjah, and The Chedi Andermatt have earned distinguished rankings in the 37th Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards, celebrated for their outstanding luxury and service.
The Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards, one of the industry’s most esteemed honours, were voted by the publication’s readers, marking this as one of the most credible and respected accolades in the global travel industry. In a significant change for 2024, separate surveys were conducted for the United States and the United Kingdom for the first time in five years. In the US alone, 575,048 readers participated, sharing their insights and voting for their favourite hotels around the world.
The Chedi Muscat secured the No. 1 spot as Best Hotel in the Middle East, while The Chedi Al Bait, Sharjah, ranked No. 11 on the same list, as voted by Condé Nast Traveller readers in the UK. The Chedi Andermatt also achieved remarkable recognition, placing No. 5 Best Hotel in Switzerland, as voted by Condé Nast Traveler readers in the US.
This is yet another accolade for The Chedi Muscat, a symbol of refined elegance since its opening in 2003. Similarly, The Chedi Al Bait, Sharjah, which opened in December 2018, has consistently been recognised for its blend of Emirati heritage and modern luxury. Meanwhile, The Chedi Andermatt, a Swiss Alpine gem, continues to draw praise for its seamless combination of traditional charm and contemporary sophistication.
These accolades reaffirm GHM’s position as a global leader in luxury hospitality. The company is also expanding with exciting new projects, including The Chedi Hegra, The Chedi Wadi Safar, and The Chedi Trojena in Saudi Arabia.
